I spent this entire month back in the trenches of vibe-coding, which is a great way to lose all sense of time and a terrible way to keep a household running. My patio, so pristine back in July, needs some Indian summer loving now, the bathroom could do with a scouring, and autumn is barrelling toward us whether I'm ready or not.
Consider this your permission slip if you're in a similar spot for whatever reason: staying organised is a cycle. You get things in order, life or a new obsession takes over, and eventually you circle back. No need to beat yourself up about being behind.
Patio was very pretty in the summer. Gotta get back out there now for some autumnal weeding and tidying.

Last week I had a computer emergency and needed a new SSD immediately. So I ran to the electronics store at the mall. First shock: the prices were so much higher than online. Worse: they offered no returns unless something is expressly defective.
Physical retail locations are always complaining about Bezos, and I understand they can't keep up price-wise. But can't they at least make more effort to have friendlier return policies? Some may dislike me for saying this, but I love Amazon Prime, and that's my whole plug because OF COURSE I bought the wrong sized SSD at the mall and couldn't return it, and was furious at myself for not just ordering it on same-day delivery! π€¦π»ββοΈ

Appalling enough that Muse ignores user permissions and uploads all your past private messages to Facebook's servers, but there are also reports of scarily unsafe situations like this guy whom Muse doxxed and lowballed on Facebook Marketplace.
